What is hair transplant?

Preparation before long hair transplant

1. Customers should stop taking medications such as vitamins at least 1-3 days before the hair transplant.
2. In case the customer has a chronic disease such as diabetes, high blood pressure,
heart disease, etc., you must inform the doctor before the hair transplant.
3. Stop drinking all alcoholic beverages 2-3 days before the hair transplant.
4. If you are allergic to any medication, please inform the doctor on the day of the pre-hair transplant consultation.
5. You must have a blood test at least 3 days before the hair transplant.
6. On the day of the hair transplant, it is recommended that you wear a shirt with buttons in the front or a shirt and have a relative pick you up and drop you off (if inconvenient, please inform the staff. The clinic provides a pick-up and drop-off service).

Hair transplant procedure using the Long Hair technique

1. The doctor and the hair transplant team will plan and design the hairline to be transplanted together to achieve the desired and most appropriate hairline.
2. Hair from the nape of the neck, back, and sides, which are areas with strong hair, will be selected for the transplant. No hair will be shaved before the surgery.
3. Patients who undergo hair transplantation will receive sedatives and mild anti-anxiety medications. Local anesthesia will be used for the hair transplant surgery.
4. The hair grafts will be drilled with a special tool. The drill head is specifically designed to extract strong hair grafts without cutting or shaving the hair.
5. The obtained hair grafts are examined for their completeness under a high-powered microscope and trimmed to the appropriate length and size for the scalp area to be transplanted.
